Update

Well I manage to get the vents to got to the other levels. I also got a health bar in place. I just need to get it to decrease over time to show that the character is losing power. I also got the splash screen and title screen to work.

Explosion in Unity

Well I finally started exporting the actual levels over into Unity and pretty much had complication from there. First I tried to resize the character controller in Unity to my level because when I did the levels in Studio 3DS Max I forgot to change the units to metric. So after I exported it over through trial and error successfully resized all of the so I wouldn't have to adjust the character controls. So after that I ran into another problem I home and had to download the lastest version of Unity because some scripts in the newer version does not work in the older. So that fixed that problem and I managed to get a lot done at home. However when I brought it back to school and opened the file it looked as though my levels had literally exploded, but this was fortunately just some issues with the sizing not saving properly and easily remedied. So as of now the lights are also done and now I can finally focus on scripting actual gameplay and mechanics.

Started In Unity

Well although they are not fully textured I finally started to import my levels into Unity. I had some problems with some of the window and door borders while I was importing them in, so I essentially had to rebuild a few of them. I am also having a problem with the collisions so it looks like I am behind once again and will be trying to get the lighting and collisions done this week.

Forgot to post

My apologies for fogrtting to post last Saturday, but I have been busy lately. Essentially my plans for this week are to have my levels imported into Unity with the lighting done. Once that is accomplished I plan to spend the last 3 weeks on the programming aspect of the assignment.

Textures

So I am pretty much done with the textures, but after taking a look at the levels I feel that I need to add in some more objects to take up some of the empty space. So that is my new milestone to be complete by week 6 or 7 along with the lighting which I just plan on doing in Unity. I then plan to start dedicating the rest of my time to the actual programming portion of the game. I do plan for this game to be in third person, but it is looking more and more like I may not get around to doing the character.
